Obsessed is a song by Mariah Carey for her 12th album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. The single debuted at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 making it Mariah's highest chart debut since 1998. The official Remix of the song features Gucci Mane.
CONTROVERSIES| Eminem
After the song's release, critics speculated that the song is targeting the Rapper Eminem in response to his song, "Bagpipes from Baghdad". Keeping the issue alive, Eminem released a response song, "The Warning", where he warns Mariah that he has recordings about Mariah that he will release if she won't stop responding to him. In the song, he speaks about an alleged sexual encounter with Carey.
MUSIC VIDEO| Stalkers & Mimi
The music video shows Mariah's love for the movie, "Mean Girls" because in the first scene she speaks, "And I was like, why are you so obsessed with me?" and the final scene where the male stalker was hit by a bus, familiarly a scene in "Mean Girls".
Throughout the video, Carey plays herself and a male stalker. She alters her appearance to play her stalker by wearing a fake goatee along with male clothing.

Well, it's too much "urbanized" and she markets her big boobies, ugh. I miss the old Mariah songs where she uses her God given talent. I like the beat though. :)
